Cockspur – Senior Commercial Partner

Cockspur Rum, associated with Barbados since 1884, has been awarded the status of Senior Commercial Partner to the PCA for 2006 and official rum of the PCA. The deal will secure branding and profiling on all literature for PCA events, including PCA Masters games where Cockspur will be headline sponsor for the umpires.

In addition, Cockspur will be positioned as a partner to the PCA Racism Awareness Campaign, which was launched at this year's PCA Annual Business Conference.

Cockspur’s involvement with the PCA continues a range of cricket related sponsorships including The Cockspur Cup, the ECB’s national club knockout competition. Cockspur also sponsors the Club Cricketer of the Month award with the Wisden Cricketer magazine and Lashings Cricket Club, skippered by former West Indies legend Richie Richardson. It is also a Platinum Partner to the Andrew Flintoff Benefit Year.

Cockspur Rum recently secured partnership deals with Surrey and Lancashire County Cricket Clubs and will be available in bars and restaurants at Lord’s Cricket Ground this summer.
